Anna Kournikova Awards and achievements

In 1999 world class star tennis player, Anna Kournikova won her first title at Midland, Michigan. In the same year she won her 2nd career in ITF tournament. At the age of 15 Kournikova made her WTA debut at the US Open where she finally lost against Steffi Graf. She also made it to the double quarter finals that same tournament.

In 1996 she won the rookie of the year award after that in 1997 she improved very much to even make it to the semifinalist in Wimbledon. This year, she made her first career WTA final against Venus Williams in Key Biscane. She also won her first doubles title with Monica Seles in Tokyo. Anna Kournikova won her first grand slam title in the year 1999, with Martina Hingis in doubles at the Australian Open.
