Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore defy the talks about marriage trouble

Having been blessed with killer good looks this farm boy from Iowa hit it big in the modeling circuit. Ashton was studying in the University of Iowa to become a biochemical engineer, but fate had something else planned for him. He was discovered by a scout, who advised him to take part in a local contest called ‘Fresh Face of Iowa’. Ashton won the contest which included a trip to New York for modeling. Thus began his career in the modeling world.

Ashton landed in New York and was immediately signed on by the Next agency. He travelled around the world doing photo shoots and walking the runways. He also featured in a Calvin Klein jeans campaign along with a host of other brands including Abercrombie and Fitch. While campaigning for this very brand he met fellow model January Jones and the two began a relationship which ended in 2001.

Not content with being a model Ashton started attending auditions. He soon succeeded in landing the role of the ‘Michael Kelso’; the dumb pretty boy of a group of friends living in the 70’s. The show was called ‘That 70’s Show’. The show was a success giving Ashton the kind of exposure required to star in a movie. Ashton started off with some bit roles in movies like the romantic comedy’ Down to You’ and the Ben Affleck starrer ‘Reindeer Games’. All was going according to plan for Ashton and next on the cards was a lead role in a movie; that’s when ‘Dude Where’s my Car’ happened. The movie was about two guys who try to retrace their steps in order to find their car after a drunken night of revelry. The film also co-starred Sean William Scott. The movie was a huge success, opening doors for more lead roles for Ashton.

Ashton tasted moderate success with films like ‘Just Married’ and ‘My Boss’ Daughter’, but that huge hit evaded him. Finally he came out with the ‘Butterfly Effect’ the movie opened straight to number one on the charts making it his career’s biggest hit. Ashton had started dating his ‘Just Married’ co-star Brittany Murph, there were even rumors that they had gotten married but they never confirmed it. After five months together they called it quits.

2003 turned out to be quite an eventful year in Ashton’s life as that very year he turned producer MTV reality show ‘Punk’d’ where played pranks on fellow celebrities. That same year he also met Demi Moore and started dating her despite the age difference of 16 years. On September 24th 2005 they got married in ceremony attended by a hundred guests including Moore’s ex-husband Bruce Willis along with their three daughters.

After the success of’ The Butterfly Effect’, Ashton followed it up with a critically acclaimed performance in ‘The Guardian’ also starring Kevin Costner. And also giving voice for the animation flick ‘Open Season’. Ashton has produced quite a few reality shows through his production company Katalyst Films and his last film ‘What Happens in Vegas’ too was a hit.
