Avenged Sevenfold is also known as "A7X". Avenged Sevenfold band is one of the bands that can manage to seamlessly blend multiple styles of music into one cohesive sound.

Five members are working in Avenged Sevenfold band. In 2001, their first album Sounding the Seventh Trumpet was released. In 2003, Avenged Seven fold's Waking The Fallen was released. This album is brilliant and boasting great musicianship from all five-band members. It was a successful attempt at blending both aggression and harmony in complex six-minute epics. Mudrock and Fred Archambault produced this album.

Avenged Sevenfold band has spent ample time on the road, spreading the mission of A7X. They have toured with Shadows Fall, Mushroomhead and spent the summer of 2003 on the Warped Tour.

In March 2003, Guitar World said that the band completely blur the line between metal and punk. The magazine also noted that the band would be as comfortable on the Ozzfest stage as it is playing punk rock dives.
