Sandra Bullock's Nightmares
Sandra Bullock confessed she still has nightmares of the time she was mugged in New York, while she was working as a waitress.
Bullock, 41, revealed that one time, after finishing her program, she was approached by a junkie who pointed a gun at her and asked for her wallet.
She recalls: "I'd finished waitressing and I had my tips in a little pack. He was on something, I realized it and I was like: 'If I just turn and walk away back towards the restaurant the cute bartender that I liked at the time of course will save me.'
I just walked and I kept thinking: 'Just don't shoot me in the spine.' It was stupid but I think I knew enough about his mannerisms; he was just as scared as I was."
Sandra Annette Bullock, born July 26, 1964, landed in a series of small roles in several independent films until she got the lead role in the TV version of the movie "Working Girl".
Bullock's first notable movie appearance was in "Demolition Man", in 1993, which led to her breakthrough performance in Speed the following year.
She became a bona fide star in the mid–late 90s, carrying a string of successes on the strength of her name alone. She also runs her own production company, named Fortis Films.
