Cameron Diaz has a Soft Spot for Science!

Washington: “Charlie’s Angel” star Cameron Diaz’ surgical precision in beating the bad-guys blue in her famous role can probably be attributed to more than just practice, with her revealing that ever since she was a kid, she had a scientific temper’ and would have studied science had she not got into showbiz.
And as far as her favourite subject in science goes, well everything from studying the depths of the oceans, to black holes in space, were of interest to her.
“I really think I would have gotten into some sort of science, like zoology, or you know, oceanography, or something like that.
“I’m fascinated with how the planet works. You can learn so much from (animals) about how this planet functions. And I would have started there and probably branched into something,” Contactmusic quoted her, as saying.
But regardless of the fact that acting has taken her far away from her passion, she says that she never misses an opportunity to share her knowledge of science with her fans, as she did when she launched her TV show, ‘Tripping’.
“I figured out that if I’m in this position, I may as well try and use whatever celebrity that is influential to try and get people closer to understanding how the planet works and what its function is and how we are a part of it.” She revealed.
