Robert de Niro's Goodfellas named the greatest movie of all time

Goodfellas has beaten out Vertigo and Jaws to be named the greatest movie of all time by a group of U.K. film experts.
The Oscar-winning '90s mobster film, starring Ray Liotta, Robert de Niro and Joe Pesci, topped a list of 100 films in a survey by Total Films.
"Goodfellas has everything, in terms of its technical brilliance, its huge influence on modern film-making and its spikiness and rewatchability," says Total Film features editor Jamie Graham.
Alfred Hitchcock's Vertigo and Steven Spielberg's Jaws placed second and third, respectively.
The top 10 list also included Fight Club, Tokyo Story, Taxi Driver and The Lord of the Rings trilogy.
