Actor Al Pacino has recently denied rumors about him being romantically involved with actress Kirstie Alley.

Alley, 54, who has been single since she broke up with James Wilder, five years ago, was spotted in Hollywood, accompanied by Pacino, 65, and, despite being with some other friends, the eyewitnesses declared they looked pretty much in love, holding hands and huddling all night.

A source tells America's Star magazine: "They were huddled for the whole evening at the Chateau Marmont, and,
at one point, Kirstie was stroking his thigh as she talked to him.
It was bizarre. They totally looked as if they were on a date."

But Pacino's representative Pat Kingsley explains: "There was a group of about eight people talking at a restaurant and it was not a dating situation."

One of the greatest actors in all of film history, Al Pacino established himself during one of film's greatest decades, the 70s, and has become an enduring and iconic figure in the world of American movies.

Born on April 25th, 1940 in New York City, Pacino hit it big with "The Indian Wants the Bronx", winning an Obie award for the 1966-67 season. Gaining notoriety on the theater scene, Pacino then won the Tony Award for "Does the Tiger Wear a Necktie?".

In 1992 he won the Academy Award for Best Actor for his amazing performance in Scent of a Woman (1992).

His film credits include: "The Godfather" (1972), "Scarecrow" (1973), "The Godfather: Part II" (1974), "Scarface" (1983), "The Godfather: Part III" (1990), "Scent of a Woman" (1992), "Looking for Richard" (1996), "Donnie Brasco" (1997), "Devil's Advocate" (1997), "Angels in America" (2003) and "The Merchant of Venice" (2004).
