Clinton's Embarrassment Further Embarrasses Herself

5 March 2002

Paula Jones, who famously accused former U.S. President Bill Clinton of making unwelcome sexual advances, will replace Amy Fisher in a televised boxing bout with shamed ice-skater Tonya Harding. Bosses at Fox have not disclosed why 'Long Island Lolita' Fisher pulled out of the celebrity boxing show, but they're delighted to hear Jones will take part. Jones herself is thrilled about the fight, which will air in America on March 13, but admits she's nervous about having her nose job ruined. She says, "Of course, that's my first concern as a woman - messing my face up. I just got my nose done, and I don't want to mess it up." Other celebrity bouts planned for the special include former child stars Barry Williams (a.k.a. Greg Brady) and Danny Bonaduce (a.k.a. Danny Partridge), and a bout between rapper Vanilla Ice and a mystery opponent.
