Eminem bids to ban ringtone sales
Eminem is trying to stop his songs being sold as mobile phone ringtones over the internet in a bid to take back control of his music.
The rapper's publishing companies have gone to court in an attempt to stop five companies selling the ringtones.
His lawyers also plan to sue karaoke firms which don't obtain proper licences to use Eminem's music.
"This is big business," said one of the lawyers. "We're talking hundreds of thousands of dollars a year."
In August, Eminem was admitted to hospital for treatment for an addiction to sleeping medicine.
It came after he cancelled a 10-date tour of Europe because he was exhausted.
