Elizabeth Hurley Named Style Icon

London, England (AHN) - The former face of Estee Lauder, model and actress Elizabeth Hurley, has been awarded Style Icon at the inaugural Grazia Awards, sponsored by British fashion magazine Grazia.
The award ceremony celebrates the creative achievements of women. Hurley was chosen for "nearly a decade as a fashionable icon of the entertainment world", according to RTE News.
Among other winners include Australian model Elle Macpherson for a Lifetime Achievement award and Jade Jagger a Fashion award for designing her own jewelry.
After receiving her award, Macpherson said: "I am completely honored to have been considered for the Grazia Lifetime Achievement award," reports RTE.
"I am so grateful for the opportunity to be present to collect it and congratulate the winners."
Grazia editor Jane Bruton says: "The awards have a particular focus on innovation and fresh perspectives."
