A rap from Eminem seeks to wring the wrong out of ring tones
While mobile ring tones have become a significant revenue earning opportunity for music companies and wireless operators, a lawsuit by rapper Eminem's publishers to block songs from his repertoire being churned out as ring tones only highlights the losses the industry suffers from infringed copyrights.
Grammy-winner Eminem, who actually goes by the name Marshall Mathers III, has risen in stature in recent years as one of the world's foremost artists, despite battling substance-abuse and personal problems that at one point may have caused him to want to "take a break from music” to rather “produce others".
