Citing a Star report the gossip column asks if Vanessa Minnillo's new high profile love life with Nick Lachey is getting in the way of her presenting gigs?
According to the column sources say Minnillo was suspended for more than a week from MTV, where she normally hosts "TRL" in the afternoons.
And she received a warning in person from "ET" executive producers Linda Bell Blue and Brad Bessey that dating a celebrity was unacceptable for an interviewer, reports Star.
All this for dating what's left of Nick Lachey? Cue the rep™:
"The information is incorrect. She's in Los Angeles now for 'ET,'" Minnillo's rep tells The NY Daily News. "She's been off MTV recently due to vocal rest and vacation days. And as long as I've worked with Vanessa, I've never experienced a single moment of diva behavior."
Nick and Vanessa were spotted together in New York for the Independence Day celebration.
At that time TMZ reported that Minnillo claims the couple are dating each other exclusively and are determined to make the relationships work, despite the fact that she lives in New York City and he lives in Los Angeles.
She explains, "There are certain sacrifices that we make. I'll travel with him on tour. He'll come to visit me.
"We see each other as often as we can."
