Sir Sean Connery does not work in movies
The James Bond star, 74, said that he needs a Mafia-like offer, which he cannot say no to, for appearing in films. Sir Sean’s spokesperson confirmed that, “He has no plans to do any more films. However, he did make a very famous film called Never Say Never Again.”
Sir Sean, who had appeared in 2003’s League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, explained why he does not wish to return to Hollywood. He said, “I am fed up with the idiots…the ever widening gap between people who know how to make movies and the people who green-light the movies. I don’t say they are all idiots. I am just saying there’s lot of them that are very good at it.”
He said the reason for turning down the role of Gandalf in Lord of the Rings Trilogy is because he never really understood it. Sir Sean also pulled out his lucrative autobiography because he felt that the publisher wants to delve too deeply inside his personal life. He said, “I realized I was going to be spending the best part of my life, and probably the rest of my life, trying to correct the inaccuracies, and I cannot be bothered.”
