London: He is one of the all-time greats of Hollywood, universally revered for his unique histrionic skills, but what few of Sir Anthony Hopkins admirers would know, is that he is also a genius at remembering dates on the calendar, even though they maybe over 50 years old.
"Locked in my brain is the ability to work out what dates fell on what days through the ages. For example, this year 28 June was on a Tuesday - there was also a 28 June on a Tuesday exactly 50 years ago in 1955.
That was the year I took my first acting course. It was on 3 October, so that would have been a Monday", Femalefirst quoted him, as saying.
And though he claims that he is not sure how he manages to do it, he says that mathematics may have a role to play in it.
"I don't understand it but I can just work out dates mathematically.
I don't use the talent because I don't need it," he said.
