Gisele Bundchen Biography

Gisele Bundchen was born on July 20th, 1980, in Horizontina, Rio Grande de Sul, Brazil. She is daughter of German decent Valdir and Vania Bundchen. She has five sisters, Raquel, Graziela, Patrícia, Gabriela and Rafaela. Patricia and Gisele are fraternal twins.

Gisele Bundchen is a Brazilian supermodel. She raised in Horizontina located in the southern part of Brazil. It is a small town of only 20,000 peoples. Including herself her sister share the same statuesque bone structures, and long, wavy brown hair. All of her sisters are well known aspiring models.

In the school she was taunted with the nickname Olive oil, the skinny friend of Popeye the Sailor in cartoons and as a Saracura a kind of long-legged bird. She liked to play volley ball, and wants to become a professional for Brazilian team, Sogipa.

When Gisele was fifteen years old she went to a school trip to Sao Paulo in 1995. She was eating a Big Mac at McDonalds an agent discovered the bronze-haired beauty and asked for her interest in modeling. Her father allowed her to move to Sao Paulo and she had taken part in the Elite Look Modeling Competition.

Gisele Bundchen has done various ads and runway shows for many fashion houses such as Zara, Valentino, Bvlgari, Chloe, Celine, Tommy Hilfiger, Versace, Michael Kors, Christian Dior, Victoria's Secret, Ralph Lauren, Dolce & Gabbana and Louis Vutton.

She also appeared on the covers of Marie Claire, Allure, Vogue, Arena, Harper's Bazaar, and Rolling Stone. She has a very curvaceous figure. Because of that she have marked the end of a trend of waif models such as Kate Moss.

She had done only few movies. She appeared in 2006 film The Devil Wears Prada as Serena, the Talking Clacker and in Taxi (2004) as Vanessa.

Recently Gisele Bundchen lives in Los Angeles in an apartment and a house is out in the country in up-state New York. She has her belly-button pierced and has a tattoo of a star drawn on the inside of her left hand wrist. She is a young, rich and famous Brazilian supermodel and maintains her naturalness and a down-to-earth personality.
