Jesse Mccartney born on April 9, 1987 in New York City, New York. Jesse has enjoyed acting since a very early age, at age 7 he was in a national tour of 'The King and I' and also he had some other acting roles on and off Broadway (Oliver, A Christmas Carol, Annie Get Your Gun). Jesse Mccartney was also a member with four other boys, of the group 'Dream Street' for 3 1/2 years. Their debut album reached number 1 on the Billboard independent Album Charts and soared to platinum sales. Also nominated for a Grammy award for it's self titled album 'Sugar Beats'.

16-year-old Jesse Mccartney is one of the few young artist who can say "I have two Emmy nominations, two Young Artist Awards, a Soap Opera Digest Award nomination, were a member of a platinum-selling singing group and have a successful acting career". Jesse Mccartney grew up in New York, USA with his whole family performing together.

Jesse's family would do stage productions, rehearsing for just two months each and that would become the year's big musical every November. While working in Community Theater, Jesse's eyes opened to the joy of singing live and the discipline of acting. Jesse Mccartney was cast in the important role of Adam Chandler, Jr. on the hit ABC daytime drama All My Children in 1998.

Jesse's acting skills on All My Children were recognized by the organizations ans as a result Jesse was nominated for an emmy in 2001 and 2002 for Best Performance by a Younger Actor in a Daytime Television Series and also for a Soap Opera Disgest Award. Also Jesse got the Young Artist Award in both 2001 and 2002.

Jesse Mccartney has been seen on television on Law & Order - as a guest star and in her Big K-Back to School commercial. At 11 years old, Jesse played the role of 'Scrooge at 12' opposite Roger Daltrey's Scrooge in 'A Christmas Carol' in 1998. In 1997 Jesse actualy began his professional theatre career, playing Louis, son to Hayley Mills' Anna, in the Broadway National Touring Company of 'The King And I.'
