Joanna Krupa Biography

Born on April 23, 1981 Joanna Krupa is a Polish model, actress. Her family moved to Chicago, Illinois, USA, which is huge Polish community. She follows all the Polish traditions. Joanna has attended Polish school for six years. Joanna is daughter a prominent hotelier Steven Krupa. She is elder one between her two sisters, Carlina and Martha. After high school Joanna attended college in local community. She dropped out of college to pursue career in modeling.

Joanna is best known due to her modeling for several magazines including Inside Sport, Personal, FHM, Steppin Out, Stuff, Teeze, and Maxim. Joanna has appeared on the many covers of magazine like: FHM, Playboy, 944 Magazine, Poker Life, and GQ. On July 2005, Krupa appeared on the cover on Playboy.

Joanna has modeled for Sketchers shoes, Venus Swimwear and Frederick's of Hollywood. She was "The sexiest swimsuit model in the world" according to Playboy magazine. While Austrian TV Media magazine named her "One of the world's top ten supermodels". GQ praised her as "The sexiest woman on earth."

Joanna's successful modeling career led her to Television and film career. Joanna has appeared in many TV shows and films. In 2000, she appeared in an episode of the Baywatch, "Son of the Beach". Since then she was appeared in many TV shows including "Las Vegas", "ER", "Just Shoot Me", "The Jenny Jones Show", and "Splatter Factor". Joanna also played a role of juggy dancer in TV show "The Man Show". Joanna likes dancing. She has attended ballet and tap dancing classes.

Joanna has played small roles in "Planet of the Apes" and in "Legally Blonde". Joanna is now casted with major role in films "Ripple Effect (2006)", a horror "Skinner Box (2006) and the offbeat comedy "The Dog Problem (2006)" against Scott Caan and Don Cheadle.

In 2003, Joanna reached he semi-finals of Star Search Spokesmodel competition. Maxim magazine named her #61 in their 2006 list of "Hot 100". While named #78 in their 2005 list of "Hot 100". Also appeared in their Girls of Maxim gallery.

After the issue of July 2005 Playboy shot, she was dating Smallville actor Jensen Ackles. Joanna says about Jensen that, "He's so not Hollywood and not into being a star". "He's absolutely amazing. I've never been more attracted to anyone in my life." As of 2006 Joanna and Jensen are not together. Joanna is best friend of Sarah Kozer (ex Chicagoan Playboy model and star of "Joe Millionaire").

Joanna now residing in Los Angeles, in her newly bought home with mother and sis Martha.
