"When I signed for 'As the World Turns' [a three-year stint beginning when she was 15], I had to promise my mom that it wouldn't hurt my grades and my dad that I would go to college. Acting kept me out of trouble. I had to go to CBS at 7 a.m., so I didn't have any time to fool around." - Jordana Brewster.

She was born on 26 April 1980 in Panama City. She had spent her early childhood in London, England. After some time her family shifted to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. In Brazil her family stay for 4 years. In that 4 years periods she became fluent in Portuguese. When she was 10 years old her family again shifted back in Brazil but relocate to Manhattan.

At Manhattan she studied at Sacred Heart. It is a Catholic school. Afterwards she moved to New York Professional Children's School.

She began her career through television serials "All My Children" and "As the World Turns". She has played a role of Nikki Munson for three years. She had also played a role of co-star in "The '60s" in 1999.

"The Faculty" is debut film of Jordan Brewster in 1998. "Fast and The Furious" this film released in 2001, which gives big success to Jordan Brewster. Apart from her involvement in acting career she continue to attend her graduate classes.
