"Making people laugh is hard, especially for someone who is not happy." Josh Hartnett completed his graduation from South School in Minneapolis, Minnesota and after that he attended SUNY in Purchase, New York. Josh's first acting gigs were a Northwestern Airline commercial and role as "Huck Finn" in a high school play. By the end of April 1997, Josh went to California where he got a role of Michael Fitzgerald in the short-lived American television series Cracker (1997). Josh broke into acting by filming commercials. He started doing small plays and national commercials, but is beginning to break into the big-screen movie business with his starring role in Halloween H20: 20 Years Later (1998). Josh Hartnett was appeared as Clark Kent/Superman in Wolfgang Petersen's Batman vs. Superman movie. But that project has been delayed until after Brett Ratner's Superman film. He has won two awards:
