Michael was born on 27th November 1968 in France. His father is France and his mother is American. When he was five years old his parents got divorced. He never though became an actor. At an age of eighteen he decided to join French military service. After wards he joined the acting school.

His debut film is "Un homme et deux femmes" which was released in 1991. In the next year that is in 1992 he played a role in Promenades dete. In 1993 he played a role in "Fiorile" which is Italin film. In 1996 he played role in "The Pallbearer" which is big American film.

In 1997, his performance was very good in "The Myth of Fingerprints". But he got popularity and adulation from "Never Been Kissed" in 1999. In 2000 he also performed very good in "The Next Best Thing".
