Natasha Henstridge was born on 15 August 1974 in Springdale, Newfoundland Canada to Brian and Helen. Her father was a contractor and mother is a housewife. Natasha grew up in Ft. McMurry, Alberta, Canada.

At the age of 13, Natasha participated in the Casablanca Modeling Agency's worldwide "Look of the Year" contest and was selected as first runner-up. While at the age of 14, Natasha left Canada and moved to Paris to pursue her modeling interest. Soon after at the age of 15, she appeared on the cover of the French edition of "Cosmopolitan". Thereafter Natasha appeared on the covers of numerous magazines. Next Natasha appeared in TV commercials of Olay, Old Spice, and Lady Stetson.

Natasha moved her interest to acting in 1995, and appeared in a Sci-Fi thriller film "Species" for MGM. She played a role of alien and human DNA who was intent on procreating in order to create a new race. The studio was fully impressed by her star quality that even before her first release they have signed her for three-picture deal. Species was her first film and was a box office hit.

In 1996, Natasha appeared in a couple of movies including "Maximum Risk," alongside Jean-Claude Van Damme and "Adrenaline: Fear the Rush," alongside Christopher Lambert. In 1998, Natasha was co-starred with Robert Sean Leonard in "StandOff", based on recent FBI/militia stand-offs. The same year Henstridge appeared on ther sequel of Species "Species II", playing Eve (a clone of the alien). But the sequel doesn't make any success as like its original.

Henstridge has also landed roles in some less known films including "Dog Park (1998)", "Bela Donna (1998)", "Kill You Twice (1998)" and "It Had to Be You (2000)". During 97-98 Natasha has also given guest appearances in TV shows "Homeboys in Outer Space (1997)", "The Outer Limits (1997)" and "South Park (1998)".

In 2000, Henstridge appeared in a supporting role in romantic comedy "Bounce", where she played a role the attractive woman Mimi Prager, who causes Ben Affleck to switch plane tickets with another man who is then killed when the flight crashes. The same year Natasha also appeared in another film "The Whole Nine Yards", playing a unhappy wife of Bruce Willis, who finds love with neurotic dentist Matthew Perry. It was another hit. Later in 2004, she also appeared in its sequel "The Whole Ten Yards", but the sequel didn't worked out.

In 2001, Henstridge landed a role in sci-fi thriller, "Ghosts of Mars" as Lt. Melanie Ballard. Natasha later appeared in films "Second Skin (2000)", "Kevin of North (2001)", "The Judith Exner Story", and "Riders (2002)"

In 2002, Henstridge was appeared along with Kristen Miller and Natasha Williams on NBC action series "She Spies". While gave a strong performance in a standard Showtime biopic, "Power and Beauty" as Judith Campbell Exner. In 2005, Natasha appeared in the Lifetime telepic, "Widow on the Hill". Natasha now appearing in a television show "Commander In Chief" (ABC, 2005 - ), playing a recurring role of Jayne Murray as an assistant to the Speaker of the House (Donald Sutherland).

Natasha Henstridge's Personal Life
Natasha married actor Damien Chapa twice. They first married on 26 August, 1995, while their second marriage was lasted only a few months. Natasha has two sons from her fiancé Liam Waite, called Tristan River Waite (born October 14, 1998) and Asher Sky Waite (born in September 2001). Natasha is living with fiancé and sons in L.A.'s Hollywood Hills.
