Paris Hilton is the eldest of four children born to Richard Hilton and Kathy Richards amongst her younger sister, Nicky Hilton, and younger brothers, Barron Hilton and Conrad Hilton.

Paris's autobiography reveals her paternal grandparents are Conrad Nicholson Hilton, Jr. and his second wife, Patricia. Contrary to reports that Barron Hilton and Marilyn Hawley were her grandparents. After Conrad Hilton died, Barron had to contest as the Hilton Hotel Founder left nothing in his will for his descendants. Barron won in 1988 and the Forbes Magazine estimated Baron for net worth of US $1 billion, of which Paris Hilton is expected a share of $50 million.

Amongst some of the places which are sweet homes for the youth include a suite in the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in Manhattan, Beverly Hills, and the Hamptons, also the $3 million house in Hollywood Hills which is her current home.

She attended school at the Dwight School in New York, earning a GED whereby Hilton decided not to attend a university. Paris Hilton starred in the 2003 FOX hit reality series The Simple Life. She suffered a accident while riding a horse during the filming of The Simple Life 2. Hilton is paid US $3 million per season as the first season of the show was a huge success.

It was announced around May 29 that she will marry Paris Latsis, son of Gregory Kasidokostas and Mariana Latsis, a Greek shipping heir. Hilton however called the five month engagement off, saying, "I feel I'm just not ready for marriage."
