Rihanna Biography

Rihanna is the eldest of the three children born to Ronal Fenty and Monica Fenty who were Irish and Barbadian respectively. Her schoolings include Charles F. Broome Memorial School for primary education, Combermere School for secondary education. Amongst her achievements the first to mention was the Miss Combermere Pageant in 2004 for the talent of singing. At the age of fifteen oppurtunity knocked at Rihanna's face when she was introduced by a friend to Evan Rogers, a music producer by profession. Rogers helped her out to send demos of her recordings to various recording companies of which DEfJam signed her on the spot after audition. Rihanna released her debut album titled Music Of The Sun in August 2005. The single Pon De Replay made it to second place on U.S. Bollboard Hot 100 and UK Singles Chart. Another song which hit the rankings was If It's Lovin That You Want. The album itself is amongst the top ten rankers in canada and top 40 in UK.

In 2006, Rihanna was seen in variety of stuff of which the endorsments with Nike and J.C.Penny sounds more interesting. Meanwhile she released her second album which was titled A Girl Like Me in April 2006. The album proved to be heart winner as it opened at number 5 and number 6 in Uk and US respectively. Her songs to rank amongst the top ten included SOs and unfaithful. Rihannas A Girl Like Me is the biggest selling platinum cetified album. Rihanna's third single was premiered recently at a radio station and goes with the title We Ride. Her fourth single is Break It Off and will be featuring Sean Paul and it will be aired somewhere in November. Her acting career is not too old as her first cameo role movie Bring It On: All or Nothing was released in August 2006.
