Vanessa Minnillo Biography
Vanessa Joy Minnillo was born on November 9, 1980 at Clark Air Force Base in Pampanga, Philippines to Vince Minnillo was an Air Force Aircrew Member and Helen Berecero. Her father is an Irish and Italian decent and her mother is a Fillipina. She has a two year older brother Vincent. The family was moved from Filippines to California, Nevada, Florida, Germany, Japan and finally settled in Charleston, South Carolina. In these years she spent in seven different schools. Besides schooling she participated in cheerleading and volunteer work for some local charities. During 1986 Vanessa Minnillo's parents were separate out. The court gave custody of both the children to their mother Helen. Vanessa was allowed to meet her father only on weekends. After few years Helen remarried with an U.S. Air force Serviceman. Vanessa and his older brother moved with their mother and step father to Turkey. In 1991 there was Gulf War, because of that Helen returned back to United States and left Vanessa and Vincent with their father, Vince Minnillo until she can settle down. After that Helen was disappeared and never returns back. During this period Vanessa Minnilli's father was remarried to Donna. They both take care of these two kids and gave tem much needed parental care. Vanessa claims that Donna is a Best Friend. Vanessa Minnillo was so much crazy about to perform in front of audiences. This helped Vanessa to win Miss South Carolina beauty pageant in 1996 with her unaffected style and natural ebullience. Later on 17th August 1998 she wins Miss Teen USA title. After winning these two pageants in three years she was concentrated on college, modeling, and acting. Now days she resides at her New York City home with her family, including her son Evie and daughter Mason and her pet dogs. Vanessa Minnillo's other work includes: host for shows such as Street Pace on Fox Sports Net and ESPN's National Cheerleading Championships, co-host of the Miss USA 2001, finalist for E!'s Wild On search for the next host, one of the fresh new faces on MTV and host of their summer 2003 show Morning After, judge on Miss Teen USA 2003, o-host on CBS Thanksgiving Day Parade, etc. | |
